The Rose Inn is owned and run by Gary and Sarah, who have created a great homely environment for everyone who ventures out to visit

As well as being one of the most beautiful pubs around, The Rose Inn has an excellent reputation for serving up some of the best home-cooked pub grub too, with experienced chefs creating a varied menu full of traditional British summer-time classics.

The majority of produce is sourced locally to create a fine menu that ranges from sumptuous starters and delicious mains courses. All the meals are freshly prepared and excellent value for money.

The Rose is particularly famous for its homemade pies and curries, with a spectacular specials board which offers great choice from fresh seasonal produce – its venison burger is an absolute must for anyone who loves a homemade meat patty between a freshly sliced bun.

Pictured is a new summer dish of tuna niçoise priced at £11.95, available from the specials board. Meals are served daily from noon until 2pm, and then from 6pm until 9pm Tuesday to Friday, and all day on Saturday.

Traditional Sunday lunch is served from noon until 2.30pm, which is served from the oven to plate every week, with a choice of succulent home-cooked roasts. This delicious meal is served with fresh seasonal vegetables and delicious handmade gravy.

Children and families are very welcome and children can dine from their own separate menu which includes healthy and homemade options.

Families can also take advantage of their spectacular beer garden, where the grown-ups can sit and relax while the kids can have loads of fun on the many swings, slide and climbing frames in the Rose’s superb new play area.

Why not enjoy one of its basket meals in the beer garden, which are individually priced from £4.99 and up?
