Back for it's second year, the Cardiff Anime & Gaming Con looks set to have everything that cosplayers, anime fans, comic fans and gamers could wish for.

Following a sell-out event last year, they have moved to a larger venue at the Mercure Holland House hotel in the city-centre which shall be set on four floors of entertainment and fun.

Unlike most events, the convention focuses on a more community-driven atmosphere with a large number of audience participation events and activities taking place over two stages. So if you fancy entering or watching Cosplay Contests, Talent Show or Karaoke amongst dozens of events, workshops and talks then you're in luck!

Of course, this does not even include the almost 100 stalls present, the guests and performers and of course the Video Gaming.  There will be over 50 consoles from retro gaming in the 80s and 90s right through to the latest games. There will be some big tournaments taking place including Smash WiiU and League of Legends with £100 cash prizes, and other gaming tournaments including Street Fighter V, Pokemon Go, Mario Kart 8, Rocket League and much much more!

One more exciting aspect of Cardiff Anime & Gaming Con is that the event itself goes on until 1am each night. Provided you are 18+ then your ticket covers the parties which take place on site free of charge each evening.

Visit www.cardiffanimecon.com for tickets which are still just £16 for the entire two days. Tickets are also available on the door at £10 per day. Doors open at 10:30am each day, this 20th and 21st of August.
