Los Reyes is a new tapas restaurant located in Caerleon, and is Voice’s restaurant of the month Gareth Lee Restaurants reopened and renamed The Kings Arms as a fantastic Spanish themed restaurant.

Having only been open a short while, it has already gained a strong following of food lovers, as its delectable homemade tapas options. “The idea behind Los Reyes is simply to share,” said Gareth.

“That’s the great thing about tapas, you can pick and choose from a wide variety of options, and share with family and friends.


“We offer an extensive menu, where each dish is priced at £4 each or choose any three for £10. Diners are invited to sample something new, and if there’s more than two of you dining it’s a great way to sample new things with family and friends.

“There’s nearly 30 different dishes to tempt you, with options including chorizo cooked in Rioja, meatballs in tomato sauce, king prawns ` in garlic chilli, spicy lamb skewers, steak with padron peppers and mojo, as well as a traditional Spanish omelette.

“We cook with the seasons and use local and regional ingredients as much as possible combined with exceptional produce from Spain. “Situated in the former Kings Arms, the building has been restored to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where you can indulge in an extensive wine list, feast on our delicious selection of Tapas and relax with friends.

“We also offer traditional cold tapas at the bar, so if you pop in just for a social drink you can snack at year hearts content too.

“As well as offering an immense choice ofwines, we additionally offer a great selection of Spanish lagers, such as Estrelle, Sagres and coming soon Cruz Campo.
“Tapas is served daily from noon until 3pm for lunch, and then from 5pm until 11pm in the evenings, Monday to Saturday.

“Every Sunday we offer a traditional British Sunday lunch, but with a twist – enjoy fresh vegetables and a choice of three meats, all served in a homemade Yorkshire pudding with lashings of real gravy for only £8.95. Food is served all
day on Sunday, from noon until 11pm.

“Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or meeting with old friends, Los Reyes is the perfect dining destination.

“And don’t forget, we have flamenco dancing on the last Friday of every month, with live music performances from traditional Spanish musicians, which this month falls on November 25.”
