Roman craft for Easter in the Museum
Join the Roman soldier in the Barrack Room this Easter weekend as he tells you about life in the Roman army, then get crafty by making a traditional Roman decoration for a tree, an ‘oscilla’ and decorate it with a sheep.

Stickin’ Gladiators
Create and customise your own Roman Gladiator using stickers!
This craft activity gives children the opportunity to learn about different gladiators before creating their own unique fighter. Prizes will be given for the best three creations, to be judged by our Roman expert.

Spring Bunny Trail
Get foraging in the greenery and keep an eye out for the colourful bunnies to find out about how the friendly garden team look after everything that lives in the parkland.
Bunny has taken over Tredegar House
Bunny and his buddies have taken over the Tredegar House gardens and we need your help to count them all up. We’ll be so grateful if you find all the naughty bunnies we’ll give you a delicious Cadbury treat to say thank you! Families will also have the chance to tackle egg and spoon races, whisker painting and bunny hop races.

Binocular and Telescope Demo Weekend
Free event
Come along and take a closer look at the wildlife wonders on the reserve. You will have the opportunity to try out a range of binoculars and telescopes, with expert advice from staff and volunteers. There is no obligation to buy, but sales from all proceeds contribute to ongoing conservation projects.
