Cwmcarn Forest’s incredibly popular glamping pods have had a recent make-over at their four-star graded campsite, which will be completed ready for the summer.

Five out of the 10 pods have already been refurbished, with the rest being hopefully finished within the next few weeks. Voice was invited along to take some exclusive pics of their new look, and we must say they look fab!

There are a variety of different pods available to hire – large, small and furnished (couples only – bedding not included).

Pods are priced per night from £47 for a small pod, £52 for a large and £63 for a furnished pod. A minimum stay of three nights is required during the Bank Holidays – Friday to Monday). Two of the pods are dog-friendly, but come with an additional charge of £3 per night. Toilets, showers, a laundry room and a communal kitchen are located in the adjacent building, opposite the glamping pods.

These unique little buildings are a great way to spend the night under the stars in the forest, so if you’re looking for a very reasonably cheap night or weekend away, why not book a date today? A fun-filled family day out of exploring and adventure awaits you.

There’s plenty of spots to have a family picnic, where you can enjoy breathtaking views, as well as state-of-the-art play areas and speed cycle track to keep the children entertained.

Within the visitor centre, you’ll find a whole host of things to do in Cwmcarn Forest this year. It features an information station where you will find walking guides, maps and details of the surrounding area.

The visitor centre also offers an amazing selection of beautiful gifts for any occasion, with lots to choose from for anniversaries, weddings, christenings and birthdays, as well as seasonal items, plus there’s a wide range of classic and traditional wooden children’s toys too.

Once you’ve found the perfect gift for a loved one, why not take a break by sampling one of the delicious homemade meals or snacks that are available at Ravens café? Using local produce and supporting local suppliers whenever possible, food is served from 9.30am to 4pm, Saturday to Thursday, and 9.30am to 3.30pm on Friday.
