Burgers, of course, are under the spotlight at Burger&Co, from the onster that is TheGodfather to build-your-own concoctions, and there’s not just meat on the menu.

Burger&Co is a fabulous independent Newport City Centre restaurant, which is run and owned by people from Newport, offering a whole host of great-tasting options from the grill.

As you’d expect, burgers take centre stage on the menu, where diners can choose from a wide variety of house specials or opt to create their own.

Burger&Co signature creations include the “BBQ Beef Bad Boy” – an 8oz burger with barbeque sauce, turkey, bacon, a fried egg, onions, double American cheese, and lettuce, “The Godfather” – one 8oz burger and one 4oz burger with chipotle sauce, onion rings, gherkins, double mozzarella cheese, cucumber and lettuce, and NP20’s Finest – an 8oz burger with fried egg, fried onions and mushrooms, gherkins, mozzarella cheese and mayonnaise.

Other options include lamb, chicken and veggie burgers, a house special Burger&Co Mega Mix, the option to create your own burger with any patty, and choice of toppings (there’s even the option to save and name your burger for other people to try), fried chicken and wings, kid’s meals and plenty of side options too.

Voice got the chance to photo a few of the dishes on offer, with Mike Williams sampling The Godfather – a monster of a burger, which he almost didn’t finish!

Burgers are hand crafted using 100 per cent British beef by reputable butchers, using a unique recipe that is exclusive to Burger&Co.

The Burger&Co team can also accommodate any dietary requirements too, as long as you give them two days prior notice – all you need
to do is give them a call!

Prices for burgers start from as little as £4.50 for the classic, with plenty of options to upgrade your meal for a few pounds extra.

If the food isn’t enough to tempt you, wait until you see Burger&Co’s drinks offerings, such as its handmade thick milkshakes, which are made with Welsh Ice Cream from Joe’s. Add a shot of protein or coffee to any milkshake for £1 extra.

The restaurant is open daily from 4pm until 11pm, seven days a week. You may choose to eat-in the opulent restaurant or opt to take your meal away.

Telephone orders to be collected are welcome or you can call to book a table. If you haven’t already tried this amazing new eatery, why not do so this summer? Burger&Co.

definitely gets the stamp of approval from Voice – the burgers taste as good as they look!
