Set in over 120 acres of land at Greenforge Way in Cwmbran, Greenmeadow has been a working farm for more than 250 years

This multi-award winning farm is home to a wide variety of animals, ranging from cute little guinea pigs and cuddly rabbits to much larger creatures such as their friendly cows and affectionate donkeys.

As a visitor you can get up close and personal with the majority of the friendly animals at Greenmeadow, all of which love a good stroke and a helpful scratch
behind the ear, but they especially love being fed with the special animal feed that’s available to purchase in the shop.

This amazing place is full of wonderful things to see and do, most of which are interactive and extremely informative, so not only are you having fun you’re also learning!

If you’re feeling hungry after a day of adventure and discovery, you can always pop in to Café Cwtch for a well-deserved treat.

Café Cwtch offers a range of delicious homemade food including breakfasts, options for lunch, coffee and cake, as well as afternoon tea. It also has a fabulous children’s menu.

Continuing the success of last year, children and adults can now experience what it’s like to be a ‘Farmer for a Day’. This is a fantastic opportunity for people of all ages to spend a day with a member of the Greenmeadow livestock team to get more of a “behind the scenes” feel for the farm, call now for more details.

BABY AND TODDLER TUESDAYS
Every Tuesday from February to November is Baby and Toddler day – targeted at infants and preschool children with an array of additional exciting activities.


BRAND NEWANIMAL CARE COURSES
Whether you are thinking of taking on poultry or livestock for the first time or are an established smallholder looking to brush up on your skills our new courses are bound to be of interest to you.
Courses include poultry care, sheep husbandry skills, practical pig keeping and an introduction to smallholding.


SPRING HALF TERM– SATURDAY, MAY 28-SUNDAY, JUNE 5
Lots of holiday fun which will include shearing across the Bank Holiday weekend and lots more beyond.

FATHERS’ DAY – JUNE 19
Free admission for dads on their special day.

SUMMER HOLIDAY EXTRAVAGANZA – THURSDAY, JULY 21 TO WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 31
