Husband and wife team Gareth and Heather Lee, and all of their friendly staff members invite you and your family to spend some quality time at the Rock and Fountain of Penhow this Sunday, by indulging in a traditional home-cooked Sunday roast
Head chef Gareth offers a wide range of succulent roasts to choose from including beef, lamb, chicken and pork, which he has roasted to perfection and then hand-carves thick slices to fill your plate.
Each roast comes served with as selection of fresh seasonal vegetables, including boiled and roast potatoes, plus lashings and lashings of beautifully homemade gravy.
As well as an excellent choice of roasts to choose from, there’s also a fish dish and vegetarian options to choose from. Sunday lunch is priced at £10 for two courses, the same amazing price as their regular menu, children sized portions are priced at £5.95 for two courses, available to youngsters up to the age of twelve.
Sunday lunch is served from noon until 4pm, with their regular menu being served afterwards until 9pm.
There isn’t a festive menu this year, as owners Gareth and Heather Lee would rather offer the same fantastic quality of food at an amazing price instead.
“We won’t up our prices just because it’s Christmas,” said Heather.
“But on Christmas Day we will be offering a sensational three-course menu, which will be served in one sitting at 1pm. Spaces are extremely limited for Christmas Day, as we’re almost completely full.”

The Rock and Fountain restaurant and village inn is open daily from noon until 11pm, food is served from noon until 9pm every day.
