Ravellos Restaurant
Located at the heart of the Parkway Hotel and Spa, Ravellos Restaurant is popular with both hotel residents and guests who live in the surrounding area.

Head chef Clive Williams, takes personal pride in every menu he is creates, from the coffee shop and bar menu to banqueting and a la carte – being AA Rosette accredited for Culinary Excellence, he knows what he is talking about.

Clive Williams is passionate and refreshing in his outlook on food. He cares about his menus reflecting the seasons and changes in taste, quality and appearance, and has created a sensational new summer a la carte menu for you to sample.

Voice got the opportunity to photograph a few of the spectacular dishes from this new menu, including a starter of chicken liver parfait with sherry raisins and curry crumb, a main dish of lamb cutlets with potato and thyme terrine, creamed savoy, and spiced red cabbage puree, and also a dessert of pistachio sponge, with a lemon gel and pistachio scented mascarpone.

“We have a lovely a la carte menu which has recently been awarded an AA Rosette,” said Clive.

“This achievement is something we are all very proud of. I think we stand out because of the quality and thought that goes into each dish. When you put the time and effort in, the evidence is on the plate put in front of
you.

“We offer our customers not only fine dining in Ravellos, but a full bar menu for our lounge, as well as homemade afternoon teas. These are prepared daily, serving fresh cakes, scones, Welsh cakes and Welsh clotted cream.

“At lunchtime we offer a coffee shop lunch style service, serving a selection of salads, quiches, pies and pastries all made right here in my kitchen. We cater for lots of large functions from carverys to gala dinners. Our themed party nights are always amazing and are renowned locally as we offer great food with choices for large numbers.”

Ravellos Restaurant serves food Monday to Sunday from 6.30pm until 9.30pm, with a Sunday carvery served from noon until 3pm. There’s always three different roasts to choose from including vegetarian options and fish dishes. Sunday carvery is priced from £14.50.
