The weather might be starting to dip, but the Autumn season at the New Theatre is as fabulous as ever. There’ll be big stars in big shows, from musicals to comedy, thrillers to drama, as well as top quality family entertainment.

Will Young and Louise Redknapp are the blockbuster leads in CABARET, while newcomer Kara Lily Hayworth will immortalise one of Britain’s best-loved entertainers when she plays CILLA. Other musicals to watch out for this season are FLASHDANCE, OUR HOUSE and the return of the crowd-pleasing THE SOUND OF MUSIC.

Drama fans will have plenty to look forward to as well. Jessie Wallace and Paul Bradley star in exciting thriller DEATHTRAP, and there is the stage adaptation of the terrifying WAIT UNTIL DARK. 2018 will see exciting new dramas GALLOWGLASS, THE CASE OF THE FRIGHTENED LADY and STRANGERS ON A TRAIN, based on Patricia Highsmith’s world-renowned novel and Alfred Hitchcock’s classic film.

After the tremendous success of Gangsta Granny, the New will host another David Walliams best-seller, AWFUL AUNTIE. PEPPA PIG’S ADVENTURE and WHAT THE LADYBIRD HEARD are perfect for kids and families alike. Dance fans will be delighted to learn that Vincent and Flavia will be back in TANGO MODERNO, while Northern Ballet returns with their version of classic novel JANE EYRE.

There are also some exciting one-night-only performances from ANDY FAIRWEATHER LOW, BEN PHILLIPS and MIKE DOYLE. And, of course, Mike will join Samantha Womack, Gareth Thomas, Tam Ryan, Chico and Stephanie Webber in Wales’ biggest pantomime SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS.
