Rhys Giles Hair and Beauty, Friars Walk and Voice are on a mission to find the next face of fashion in South Wales. Yes, that’s right ladies and gentlemen – we’re launching the 2016 South Wales Top Model competition.

There’s new twist this year, as the winner(s) will be the Face of Friars Walk. Last year, we were inundated with entrants from up and down the country.

It was amazing – boys and girls got on board, with our eventual winner being the lovely Emily Peacock from Caerleon. Emily has featured on the cover of Voice many times, and also in news articles, fashion shoots and advertorials within the mag throughout the year.

This year’s competition is set to be bigger and better than ever before, as the lucky winner(s) will get the chance to do a whole host of different features within Voice, for Rhys Giles and Friars Walk.

The competition launches this May, with the #SWNTM final being combined with the V Awards in October, where we will announce the winner(s) in November.

The first stage of the finals will include 24 would-be models for our readers to vote for appearing in our August edition, with the final six taking to the catwalk at our V Awards show in October.

This year’s main prize, which comes courtesy of Rhys Giles Hair and Beauty, is a whopping £600 of haircare, which can be enjoyed at either of the Rhys Giles salons throughout 2017.
