Well, hello there and welcome to the 2008 V Awards – the only local awards voted for by the people and the people alone.

This is now our fourth V Awards year and in that time we’ve given out tonnes of awards to all of your favourite places. This year will be no exception at all! We have reviewed the awards categories, bringing in a few more relevant ones and taking out a few not so relevant ones.

So, now, it’s over to you. Who do you want to see walk away with a V Award this year? Which salon is your favourite? Which pub or restaurant do you love the most? And, most importantly, perhaps, where to you live to shop? We need you to tell us!

The winners will be announced at a glitzy ceremony in Newport in October (date tbc) and you’re all invited along.

All you need to do is fill in the form, send it back to us and go from there! The closing date is October 1st, and don’t forget, you could win an amazing prize, just by sending in your nominations!

V Awards Rules

You can enter the awards as many times you wish.
Entries made via post, dropped into our office or as email will be counted.
All winners are decided by the number of votes cast – the person with the most votes in their category wins.
Please only vote for a business in its relevant category i.e. a restaurant can not win salon of the year!
Establishments and businesses may encourage voting blatantly!
All entries must be with the Voice team by not later than 4pm on October 1st. Any entries received after this date WILL NOT be counted.
The winners will be announced on a yet to be confirmed date.
The Editor’s decision is final.
