Voice’s Barbershop of the month is Erols of Cwmbran, which is run and owned by Erol Polat.
Erol was first introduced to his craft at the age of 10 learning from his brother’s friend, and when he turned 14, he was taught the ways of traditional Turkish barbering by leading professionals.
Throughout his 25-year career, Erol has owned a barbershop in Maindee and Pontnewydd, and recently moved to his current residence last October as he needed to expand to keep up with the demand of his services.
The new barbershop features multiple working stations and a pool table on the lower floor, so you’re welcome to play a game or two during busy periods whilst waiting, especially on weekends – incredibly popular with regular clients.
Erol has built up a loyal client base during the past 25 years, with second and third generations of customers making regular visits to his barbershop on a weekly and monthly basis.
All ages are welcome from new-born and toddlers to adults and senior citizens, with prices starting from £10 for a dry cut and from £13 for skin fades.
Erol’s style and modern approach has very clean lines, with his cuts and shaves being very well-finished with expertise precision and he knows how to make your visit a pleasant experience, whether you’re looking to get a new hair style or traditional razor shave.
Erol is well-known for his impeccable service, as he’s a passionate barber who truly loves what he does.
There’s no need to book an appointment at Erols as you can just walk in and get a dry cut, restyle or have a shave. For more specialist services, you may need to book an appointment, call now for more details or to book.
