Not only can you enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal for lunch and evening dinner, at The Gate you can also start the day right with a delicious home-cooked breakfast. On the breakfast menu are a choice of freshly-prepared dishes that includes a full English, American pancakes, Belgian waffles, Eggs Benedict, Eggs Royale, steak and eggs, with bottomless tea or coffee, orange juice, and hot chocolate. Breakfast is served from 8am until noon, with options starting from as little as £1 for two rounds of toast.
Fans of a traditional Sunday lunch can try something a little different this weekend, as a roast at The Gate is a refreshing change from what you would usually expect to find at any other restaurant on a Sunday.
Options include roasted prime British sirloin of beef, roasted Welsh lamb rump, roasted pork belly as well as a Sunday steak sizzler, fish of the day and vegetarian option. There are also great choices for children too, where they can choose from beef, chicken or pork for £7.95. Booking in advance is advised, as the restaurant fills quickly, especially at peak times.
