Incredibly popular and always inviting, the Rock and Fountain of Penhow is a great place to venture to this winter with family and friends.

Renowned for its ever changing two courses for £12 menu, which also features a steak of the day, The Rock and Fountain has people travelling from far and wide to try its amazing value-for-money menu.

As the menu changes on a daily basis, there’s always something new to try, keeping its extremely loyal regulars coming back for more.

When Voice visited recently, we got the chance to photograph a few of the new dishes on the menu, which included a pork steak with mushroom and truffle oil cream sauce, a slow roasted lamb shank with mash and a red wine jus, beef fillet medallions with peppercorn sauce, and beef kofta kebab with a sweet chilli dipping sauce and pita bread – all being available on the two courses for £12 menu.

You and the family are invited to spend some quality time at the Rock and Fountain of Penhow this Sunday, by indulging in a traditional home cooked Sunday roast.

There’s a wide range of succulent roasts to choose from including beef, lamb, chicken and pork, which he has roasted to perfection and then hand-carves thick slices to fill your plate.

A festive menu will be offered from the end of November and will be priced at £14.95 for two courses and at £18.95 for three courses, featuring a traditional roast turkey dinner with all the trimmings as well as a whole host of seasonal inspired dishes. This menu is only available by booking and will be available for both lunch and evening dinner.

For Christmas Day, a special five-course feast can be yours to enjoy for £57.50 for adults and at £22.95 for children. There’s one sitting, so the table will be yours throughout to enjoy this beautiful home-cooked festive meal.
