Lunch is served from Noon until 2.30pm Monday to Thursday, and from Noon until 5.30pm on Friday and Saturday. Starters are priced from £4.95, with mains such as ham, egg and chips starting from £8.95.

Sunday lunch is a special event at The Gate, and shouldn’t be hurried or rushed. Priced at £11.95 for one course, there’s always a fine selection of roasts to choose from such as beef, lamb, turkey, sometimes chicken and occasionally, pork. Sunday lunch is served from noon, with last orders at 4.30pm.

Unlike other restaurants, The Gate is also open Sunday evening, where you can enjoy a variety of delicious pub grub meals that canusually be found on the main lunch menu throughout the week.
